In Q4 2021, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Ireland on the Android platform exhibited diverse performance trends. Data from Sensor Tower reveals the weekly downloads and active user metrics for these leading apps during this period.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 1.3K at the beginning of October and peaking at around 3.2K by late December. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trend, growing from about 6.1K to a peak of 9.7K in the week of December 20.

Uber - Request a ride maintained stable weekly downloads, ranging from 1.0K to 1.5K. Active users showed a healthy increase from around 40.4K at the start of the quarter to approximately 43.0K in the week of December 20, before a slight dip to 40.0K by the end of December.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, with a high of 863 in mid-October and a low of 179 at the end of December. Active users increased from about 3.7K to a peak of 4.8K in the first week of December, followed by a decrease to roughly 3.9K by the end of the quarter.

Cabify had relatively modest download numbers, with weekly figures mostly between 84 and 181. Active users showed a slight decline over the quarter, from around 622 to 598.

Finally, Lyft exhibited a steady download rate, peaking at 143 downloads in the weeks of November 8 and December 6. Weekly active users remained fairly consistent, fluctuating between 1.7K and 2.0K throughout the quarter.
